Ken Porter, owner and operator, has grown seed potatoes near Pontypool in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada for over forty years. He has been a member and director of the Ontario Seed Potato Growers' Association since it was established. In order to produce seed potatoes of the highest quality, Ken keeps informed on new technologies in the industry by attending meetings and seminars and by reading current publications.

He plants nuclear mini-tubers from the SPUD Unit at New Liskeard, Ontario. These potatos are marketed at the Elite 2 and Elite 3 level to commercial growers. Small or large orders are sold bulk or in bags.
